A 12-year-old named Matthew Flores from Salt Lake City, Utah recently asked his mailman if there was any extra junk mail he could have. The mailman, Ron Lynch, had never ever heard of a request for MORE junk mail so he asked why.  Matthew told him that he loves reading, but his parents couldn't afford to buy him books.  The only things he had to read were old newspapers and junk mail.

Ron went home that night and posted the story with photos and an address asking for help. The post went viral and Matthew has since received hundreds of books from all over the world.

Matthew says he's "super happy" and promises to read every single one of them.  He says when he completes a book he'll share it with other kids that love reading as much as he does.
