Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A news conference was held this morning at City Hall to unveil the winning design for the 2016 Rochesterfest button.

Vanessa Carroll came up an illustration featuring a family walking along a park path with a city skyline in the background. Her design will be used on the buttons sold to help fund the annual community-wide festival and other promotional materials.

It was also announced that Carol and Bob Brown will be the Grand Marshals of the 2016 Rochesterfest Grand Parade on June 24th. Carol retired this year after 24 years as the Rochesterfest Executive Director, while Bob has served 17-years on the Rochesterfest Board.

Bob Nowick is the chair for this year’s Rochesterfest, which will be held from June 18th through the 26th at Soldier’s Field Park.
