A Naked Gun Remake? NOT ACCEPTABLE.

You've gotta be a member of the old school to enjoy this, so if you grew up on the Naked Gun franchise, this one's for you.

If the late, great Leslie Nielsen caught word of this remake he'd be spinning in his grave while, most likely, spilling coffee on himself.   Not only was Nielsen one of the best at physical comedy, but his deadpan delivery as Detective Frank Drebin was dead-on hilarious!

The "reboot"(a shiny term used to hide Hollywood's lack of originality) is set to star Ed Helms(Stuart Price-The Hangover, Andy Bernard-The Office).  While the guys, funny in his own right, this is the kind of magic you just CAN'T remake.  Plus, who are you gonna cast as Nordberg, OJ Simpson? 

Something tells me that ain't happenin'.
