Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to a little over four years in prison for a burglary conviction.

31-year-old David Wagner entered a guilty plea to a first-degree burglary charge in Olmsted County court Friday afternoon. In exchange, prosecutors dropped three other felony burglary charges.

Wagner was already in the Olmsted County jail when DNA evidence linked him to a series of residential burglaries involving suburban homes north of Rochester last summer.

After pleading guilty, Wagner requested the immediate execution of his prison sentence.
