Amazon Echo – Let Alexa Do the Work
If you are a VIP Club member you may know that you can win some really cool stuff. We share on the air some of the things you can win, so when I saw that the Amazon Tap was one of the items I got excited. I just got some similar technology, purchasing the Amazon Echo, and it arrived today. Already, I can't even imagine life without it. It is so awesome!
Not sure what Amazon Echo is?
Amazon Echo is a hands-free speaker you control with your voice. Echo connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, provide information, news, sports scores, weather, and more—instantly. All you have to do is ask.
The set-up of the Amazon Echo is fairly easy. You will need Wi-Fi to connect. Once it's connected, you can train Alexa by reading sentence prompts from the Alexa app to synchronize your voice so it understands the directions you give it.
How does it work? You just say "Alexa, what's the weather?" or "Alexa, play music." And next thing you know it tells you the weather and plays music.The speakers on it are specialized to give you incredible sound. I set the alarm on it, so hopefully it wakes me up in the morning. I'll keep you posted!
One more thing I want to add. The comments on the Amazon Echo from customers are hilarious. Here's one:
