Ambulance, Car Collide in La Crescent

An ambulance collided with a car yesterday in La Crescent.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the wreck happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 16 and  61.

There were three people in the ambulance, which was responding to a medical call. They were identified as 64 year old Lucille Cordes of Winona, -  who was driving the vehicle - 30 year old Brandon Paletta of Viroqua, Wisconsin and 23 year old Tami Heuker of La Crosse.The driver of the car was 67 year old Brigitte Foellmi of Brownsville.

The State Patrol says the four were taken to a La Crosse hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
