America’s Sluttiest States – Where Does Minnesota Rank?

Ranking states on a wide range of topics seems to be all the rage these days. From the best states for singles or families, to the healthiest states, to the best beer brewing states, there's a list for almost everything.

Now, we can add a list of the "Sluttiest States in America" to the group!

Yep, that's right. Website Mandatory.com recently put together a map showing where each state in our great nation ranks in terms of sluttiness.

To figure out which state should top this most honorable of lists, they took information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the prevalence of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis per 100,000 state residents.

So, which state takes home the prize as the sluttiest in America? Mississippi, with just over 1,000 cases of these three STDs per 100,000 residents, won by a LANDSLIDE! That was nearly 150 more than the list's #2 state, Alaska.

On the other end of the spectrum, Vermont and New Hampshire were ranked at #49 and 50, respectively. Perhaps Puritan standards of behavior are more alive and well in the Northeast than we could ever have imagined.
