In another part of my professional life I am a co-host for Mayo Clinic Radio. It's a weekly program that takes my interest in the world of medicine (thanks for saving my life chemo and radiation!) and combines it with my gift of gab.

Recently, I was part of a radio interview about a topic that nearly left me speechless.  I want to share it with you for multiple reasons. First of all, the story of Andy Sandness and his face transplant is flat out amazing!

Secondly, I hope you will consider becoming an organ and tissue donor. Every 10 minutes, someone is added to the National Transplant Waiting List, so the need is great.
