Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A 27-year-old Rochester man was apparently assaulted early this Saturday morning at 1:20 after complaining to partiers outside a neighboring townhome about their noise.

According to the Rochester Police Department, the victim was hit in the head by a bottle and was taken to the St. Mary's E.R. Police were notified by the hospital staff of the injured man.

No arrests have been made. When police went to the area of the alleged assault at 84 Grande Valley Avenue S.W., no one was around.

Police are also investigating a robbery at 3 Links Park near the 700 block of West Silver Lake Drive Northwest. According to the police report, this incident happened shortly before 8:00 pm Friday night when the victim told police he was approached by two black males, one of whom had a gun.

They took cash and a cellphone. The victim was not harmed and did not recognize the two men.  No arrests have been made, but police are working on some "good leads."
