An Officer Took a Bite of His Sandwich, When Suddenly He Felt a Sharp Pain

When is all of this going to stop?

Earlier this week, an Ohio police officer made a stop at one of his favorite sandwich shops to grab a bite to eat.

Now it's one thing to take a bite of your sandwich and maybe taste something a tad funky, or bite down on something you didn't expect to be there... but nothing can, or should prepare you for what this man had to go through.

As he bit down on his meal, he felt a crunch between in teeth and immediately felt a sharp pain inside his mouth. He looked inside the sandwich and saw shards of glass! That's when the officer checked his mouth, and realized he was bleeding.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and was held overnight. Investigators later said that he's expected to be alright. It's not clear at this time if the incident was intentional or accidental.

While that last part may be true, it's still sickening to read about this during a time when police are being targeted for violence on an almost-daily basis in America.
