Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police investigators are treating an overnight car fire as suspicious after finding evidence at the scene that indicated it may have been intentionally set.

A neighbor reported the fire around 1:30 Wednesday morning at a residence located at 247 Foothills Lane SE, which is east of the Mills Fleet Farm store.

Firefighters arrived to find the car engulfed in flames. It was parked in the driveway of the residence. Three other cars were parked nearby and were damaged. The fire also damaged some of siding on the house.

The Fire Department’s preliminary estimate of damage was $50,000.
