Avid KROC Listener Scores a Date with His Wife at Valleyfair

Sometimes is just pays to be a nice guy.

Meet David.

This guy right here LOVES KROC.  He calls in to the station all the time, and I say that in a good way.

He's a regular caller with Dunken and Samm in the morning, and especially with me in the afternoons.  Sometimes he calls in to see if anyone has won the Diet Pepsi Jackpot, other times its just to chat and say hi and see how we're doing.

What never changes is his great attitude, as he's always upbeat and friendly with all of us and it's something we all appreciate.

In any case: Just as Samm was wrapping up her morning show today, David just so happened to call in to say hi, and then told her to look out the window...

Suddenly, like the boombox scene out of the movie "Say Anything", there's David himself standing out in our parking lot with a bright yellow sign asking for our last pair of passes to Valleyfair so he can take his wife and kids for a day of fun in the sun!

I mean, how can you say no to something like that?!

So obviously Samm and I ran downstairs to finally meet David in person, and to give him the passes.  He was so thankful, gave us multiple hugs and said he couldn't wait to go.

It's days like this that I love my job - Have fun, David!
