Best Disaster Movies Of All Time – Do You Agree With The Number One Movie?
The newest movie on the list was made in 2009 - the rest seem to be closer to 50 years old. I haven't seen the majority of them, but totally LOVE the number one movie. See if you agree.

The list came from Vulture.com.
Here were their ground rules for selecting the movies:
- Excluded movies that were also creature features or alien-invasion movies. (For example, no Independence Day, or Godzilla, or King Kong.)
- No superhero movies OR tales of the supernatural
- The scale of the disaster had to be evident in the film (so no Dr. Strangelove or Fail Safe).
- And, ONLY films that were about the disaster itself rather than the aftermath of a disaster (Castaway)
With that being said, do you agree with their list??
