Byron,MN  (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an unusual residential burglary in Byron.

The burglary was reported Thursday from a home in the 200 block of 6th St NE. The homeowner says the break-in occurred between noon and 3 p.m.

The homeowner says miscellaneous items worth around $500 were taken, including a laptop, costume jewelry, some perfume and a plant. Yes, the burglar stole a plant. There was no definitive word as to what kind of plant was taken...

There was no sign of forced entry.
