St. Croix Falls, WI (Learfield Wire Services/TTWN Media Networks) -- A body found by deer hunters on the Wisconsin side of Interstate State Park has been identified as a missing kayaker from Minnesota.

The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Anoka identified the victim as 49-year-old Vue Her of Oakdale -- but the cause of death has not been determined. Her was reported missing in July after he started trying to paddle the Saint Croix River on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border.

A pair of hunters found the body late Tuesday on the river bottoms of the park at Saint Croix Falls. Her's kayak was found soon after he was reported missing, with his keys and a tackle box inside -- and there have been no reports of foul play in his death.
