Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police officers and other first responders were sent to a local school Monday to check a report of a threat involving a teacher.

The 911 call was received around 9:30 a.m. and indicated a student at Phoenix Academy was pointing a gun at a teacher. Nothing suspicious was found and a police spokesman says the call is being treated as a hoax.

The school is located in the 300 block of 16th St SE, about a block east of the Graham Arena complex.
