Brand New Feature Rumored for Apple iOS 10.3 Called ‘Theatre Mode’
I've barely had any time to rummage through all of 10.2's updates, and now there's rumors that Apple's iOS 10.3 will have at least one new interesting addition.
The word on the street is that the new update will feature something called "Theatre Mode". As of right now it's pretty vague on what exactly that all means.
start testing it tomorrow, January 10.
Forbes, Dickson thinks theatre mode will allow users to dim the screen and mute audio and notifications so they can use their phones in a dark theatre without drawing attention to themselves.
I just hope the people who are truly getting excited about this feature realize that it's OK to put your life on hold for 90-120 minutes at a time while you enjoy a movie. Nothing bothers me more than seeing a phone screen light up in front of me while I'm trying to watch a movie.
