BREAKING: Gopher Football Coach Jerry Kill Retiring Effective Immediately

Jerry Kill is stepping down effective immediately due to health issues.  Kill, has epilepsy and a history of seizures.

Defensive Coordinator Tracy Claeys has been named interim head coach.

Jerry Kill was announced as the new head coach of the University of Minnesota football program on December 7, 2010. This is his fifth year at Minnesota and 22nd overall of being a head college football.  His career record is 156-102.
