Where were these courses when I attended college?

Back in December, California State Polytechnic University opened a microbrewery on campus... (let me repeat that last part: ON CAMPUS!) where students interested in pursuing beer-making as a career could hone their craft.

But while other schools around the country have embarked on similar endeavors, Cal Poly is the first to allow the sale of student-brewed beer on campus.

"To make the beer here and sell the beer here and have a cafe and have an educational component, we're the first to have put all those pieces together," Aaron Neilson, Cal Poly's director of dining services, told the AP over a lunch of pizza and beer at the school's new Innovation Brew Works.

Had this course been an option while attending Winona State, I doubt I'd be sitting where I am career-wise... But then again, I've never been opposed to going back to school either!
