Rochester's newest restaurant, The Bleu Duck Kitchen opens today!

New american bistro style restaurant serving classic dishes with a new twist will have an ever changing menu to help you always "find your NEW favorite".   I got to check it out at a pre-opening party and it's GORGEOUS in there, and all the drinks are fantastic, the food i tried was delicious, and I know I'm going to sound super crazy but their WATER tastes fantastic too.  I'm always really picky about the way water tastes and I love theirs.

Well known local chefs extraordinaire  Erik Kleven (chef/owner) and Erik Paulsen (chef/owner) have teamed up with The Doggery owner Aynsley Jones, (beverages/owner) and put Jenny Becker in charge of Events/FOH to form a service industry super-team--in my mind, they are like the Justice League of bars and restaurants!

This might be my favorite part: the name is inspired by the Adam Sandler movie "Billy Madison".  Remember when he goes back to first grade and draws a blue duck "because I've never seen a blue duck"?  The chefs used to work together and have "blue duck" days to experiment with dishes and try out new techniques!
