Target is under fire for trivializing a certain mental illness this holiday season with a new sweater design.

Are you ready for it? Because here it is:

Yep, people are just pissed! They're saying the sweater takes an unnecessary shot at people with mental health issues.

According to this article here, Target does NOT plan on removing the sweater from their shelves, despite all the backlash.

First off: Who are these "offended" Americans? Is it more than 1 person? Or just one person who yells really loud? Are there just people who walk around looking for things to be "offended" about all day, every day?

I mean c'mon!  Acronyms are used ALL THE TIME, for MANY different things.

If you're that bent out of shape over it, then maybe you should join the A.A.A.A. - Anti-Acronym Association of America. If that sounds ridiculous, it's because it is. And so is the uproar over a stupid sweater. I hope Target sells out of them this season to spite the 17 people out there who find it offensive.

Maybe in 2016 we can finally move on from all this "I'm offended!" crap and concentrate on things that actually matter.
