A Chipotle manager was fired after being caught on tape asking a group of customers to pay before ordering. He said, "you gotta pay because you never have money when you come in here." The video, which you can watch below, was uploaded to Twitter by a user named Masud Ali.

Chipotle replied to the video with a tweet that read: "@masudali what happened here is not how our employees should treat our customers. We are committed to treating all of our guests fairly and with respect. The manager has been terminated and the restaurant has been retrained so this doesn’t happen again. We'll be back in touch."

Update -  Several tweets surfaced on Sunday that show Ali apparently has dined and dashed in the past. Chipotle is still investigating and has not yet given the manager her job back.

Chipotle Chief Communications Officer Laurie Schalow told Fox News on Sunday: "Our actions were based on the facts known to us immediately after the incident, including video footage, social media posts and conversations with the customer, manager, and our employees. We now have additional information which needs to be investigated further. We want to do the right thing, so after further investigation we will re-train and re-hire if the facts warrant it."
