Oh Craigslist, you never cease to make for a fun day.

I love regularly checking the Missed Connections section of the Rochester version of Craigslist. When I checked this week, I discovered a potential country love connection that went down at Silver Lake!

A "prohibited" user explained,

I was sitting on a bench at Silver Lake you were walking by we exchanged hellos. You then stopped asked me if I was going to the country concert. I told you I wasn't able to but country was my cup of tea. Contact me I would love to take you to a country concert.

Did we seriously miss a chance to see a new country couple in Rochester!?

Supposedly, this encounter took place on July 29th. It was posted just two days ago.

After reading this, I couldn't help but ask if sharing a love of a specific musical genre really meant any "bond" could be had between two people. To be honest, my husband and I have largely similar taste in music, but we definitely don't always agree on our favorite bands or songs.

Zoosk recently explained, "As adults, you listen to music that aligns with your values. Research shows there’s a strong relationship between music preference and personality." I interpreted this as "taste in music might be an early window into what that person's personality is like."

Here's hoping these two country lovebirds end up going to that show together!
