A Rochester man accused of a multi-county crime spree last month has pleaded guilty to a vehicle theft charge in Wabasha County.

31-year-old Manuel Ramirez is accused of stealing several vehicles and leading authorities on a chase that began in Oronoco. Authorities say Ramirez made his way through Wabasha County and into Wisconsin, before he returned to Minnesota and was apprehended after he ran out of gas in Goodhue County.

Ramirez, who still faces charges in Olmsted County, is scheduled to be sentenced in Wabasha County Court on September 23rd.
