Crochet For a Cause – Vote Now

It's safe to say there are very few people that have NOT been affected by cancer in one way or another - whether it be your parent, grandparent, sibling, or friend.  Both my grandmother's lost their battle to cancer, and I know several other people that are still battling the awful disease.  I'm all about helping with as many different charities as physically possible.  I am the media chair for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, and I love promoting benefits/events for all charities on the air.  It was brought to my attention today, that a local women is running for a national grant through the YMCA.  Jessica Williams wants to start "Crochet for a Cause" where she will teach people how to crochet hats.  They will then be donated to local hospitals for patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy treatments.  You can vote everyday right here!
