Dance-a-thon to Raise Funds for Family of Deceased Kasson-Mantorville Student

Two area dance studios are teaming up to raise money for a local family that lost their daughter earlier this month.
Rilee Bjerke, a junior at Kasson-Mantorville, passed away earlier this month after being diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disease.

Rilee loved dance.

To honor her love, Janet Lang Dance Studio and Byron Dance Academy, have teamed up to raise money for her family.  A dance-a-thon is being held this Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the Janet Lang Studio located at 2625 Hwy 14 W.

The event is free and open to the public, a free-will donation will be accepted at the door.

You can enjoy dance performances and/or participate in a yoga class. T-shirts and walking tacos will be available for purchase.
