UPDATE: Victim of Deadly Wreck Near 75th Street Roundabout ID’d
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the victim of Wednesday evening's traffic wreck north of Rochester.
The State Patrol says a northbound car driven by 62-year-old Sharon Kay Ross of Lake City collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Daniel Atkinson of Plainview. Ross died at the scene. Atkinson was not hurt.
A pickup truck driven by a New London, Minnesota man was southbound on the highway and collided with the Ross car. He was not injured.
The wreck happened just after 5:30 p.m., a quarter mile north of the 75th St roundabout and led to the closure of Highway 63 for a few hours.
