“Dear Blair Walsh, Everyone Makes Mistakes,” 1st Graders
A Minnesota first grade class wrote letters to Blair Walch to "make him feel better" since "lots of people are mad at him" for missing a big field goal. It was all part of a lesson about empathy. See the kids reading their adorable letters here!
The class is from Blaine, and Blair stopped into visit with them, sign autographs and take pictures this morning. On that subject, my sister is in 3rd grade and she said a player is stopping in to her school this week also. I asked which one, and her response was "...umm, I think it's Broccoli Sherrels." I love kids!!! Check out how adorable they are reading their letters to Blair:
