‘Death Wish’ Coffee Recalled Because it Can Kill You

The FDA is recalling "Death Wish" coffee because it can cause botulism - which can actually kill you! No one has reported a sickness yet. The super strong coffee is not sold in stores. Only on the companies website and on Amazon.

The CDC says Death Wish Coffee Company which says it makes "The World's Strongest Coffee" launched the recall, and has halted production of the cold brew until they can find an alternate safe process to manufacture.

According to the CDC's website Botulism is pretty nasty - "Botulism is a rare but serious illness caused by a toxin that attacks the body’s nerves. Symptoms of botulism usually start with weakness of the muscles that control the eyes, face, mouth, and throat. This weakness may spread to the neck, arms, torso, and legs. Botulism also can weaken the muscles involved in breathing, which can lead to difficulty breathing and even death.
