When a construction crew places the highest or last steel beam on their project they celebrate with a "Topping Out" celebration. The crew working on the new Vikings stadium just had their ceremony and received this as a thank you gift:

Doh! Minnesota was incorrectly spelled “Minesota,” as you can see in the picture above.

A Vikings spokesman told the Star Tribune:

“The knit hats came from an NFL-licensed vendor and were delivered in boxes directly to the construction site for yesterday’s event. The team apologized to Mortenson Construction for the mistake. We greatly value the dedication and effort of the entire stadium work force.”
