Yancey Baer is a disabled war veteran, but you can't always tell by looking at him.

He's an amputee from the knee down on his left leg.  When he wears pants, you may not even notice the difference.

Yancey has a service dog, Rubina, who helps him with everyday tasks.  She's there for everything from providing companionship to helping him turn lights off.

She goes everywhere with him, even to public places... that's how service dogs work.

Unfortunately, some people decide to judge them.  He recently felt judged and ridiculed by certain businesses who feel like he doesn't need the dog.

Instead of letting his anger take over, he chose to speak out and help raise awareness for service dogs and their importance.
