Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton says he is not opposed to letting Syrian refugees into the state as long as they are subjected to a serious screening process. Governor Dayton says he's received assurance from the White House that any refugees from the war-torn country would be "subject to the highest level of security checks of any category of traveler to the United States."

Despite that promise from the Federal Government more than half of the states in our country have decided not to allow Syrian refugees to relocate into their states.

Do you think Governor Dayton is making the correct decision? Do you worry about the decision and if it could have a negative affect the ability to keep the citizens in Minnesota safe?
