Blooming Prairie, MN (KROC AM News) - The man whose body was found near Blooming Prairie Friday had been shot several times and his wife may have been the killer.

Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose says 54-year-old David Riess died from multiple gunshot wounds. He was found inside in his home. It's not known at this time when he was shot.

Rose says efforts to locate his 56-year-old wife Lois Riess continue and it’s believed she may be armed. He says she “is known to frequent casinos.”

The victim operated a business on their property called Prairie Wax Worm Farm.-
