Bad News: Your Toyota's air bag might not work properly. Good News: Your dealer will check your car and fix it if necessary at no charge.

Toyota announced a massive recall of 645,000 vehicles to fix an electrical issue that could prevent air bags from inflating in a crash. The recall includes popular models like the Toyota Prius, Corolla and Highlander produced between May of 2015 to March of 2016.

USA Today says, "The automaker says an open electrical circuit could occur over time. That would set off an air bag warning light and could stop the side and front air bags from deploying."

Airbags are kind of important so pay attention to your mail if you own one of these vehicles. Toyota will be sending letters to notify owners.  You can contact your local dealer if you have any questions or concerns.
