DUI driver ends up on Silver Lake

A Rochester man can thank the cold weather for keeping him out of Silver Lake’s chilly water early this morning. Police say the man’s vehicle struck a utility pole and ended up on the ice covering the lake. The 25 year old man then called 911 to report the mishap. Police later arrested him for DUI after a breath test showed he had a blood/alcohol level of .15 The incident happened around 3 this morning in the 1200 block of Silver Lake Drive.
