Sergeant Troy Christianson joins us again! This time we get to test out a touch screen distracted driving simulator.

It's alarming the amount of people getting hurt, or even killed on the roads because of texting and driving. In the last 4 years, more than 86,000 crashes in Minnesota were distracted driving related. In 2015 alone, 74 people were killed because of distracted driving, and nearly 8,000 more were injured.

Did you know that at 55 mph, texting and driving is like traveling the length of a football field without looking up?

A message from the Towards Zero Deaths: "No one intends to seriously injure or kill someone by driving distracted. But good intentions don’t prevent crashes — smart choices do."
