My wife and I loved everything about the new house we moved in to last summer, except the kitchen.  We knew right away that would be our first project.

We really wanted to upgrade the cheap linoleum counter-tops and my wife has always wanted a white kitchen so we had a basic idea of what we wanted to do.  Our first stop was the Cambria Inspiration Gallery to check out their counter-tops - They have 122 designs. (Did you know Cambria is a Minnesota company?  It's true - I like to support local companies so that's why we stopped there first.)

After visiting with the staff we picked a sample and took it home, but it didn't look right with the lighting in our kitchen so we returned it and selected another that we liked. I really enjoy the fact that all of their designs are the same price because we changed our minds a few times and didn't have to worry about changing our budget.

After about a week of looking we narrowed it down to three designs that we really liked but couldn't settle on one. That's when I started talking about our kitchen remodel on-air and asking our listeners to make the decision for us.  Berywn was the most popular choice with our audience so that's what we went with.

The Cambria design team then offered advice on which paint to use to make the counter-tops pop. So we headed out to get paint and I started on the cabinets.

A few days later Barry from the Cambria Install Team came out to take measurements.   He was a true profession that went above and beyond. He actually helped us pick out a new sink and faucet. Our counter-tops were installed about 2 weeks after the measurements were taken.  A team of 4 were in and out in a little under 2 hours.

Here's what our new Cambria kitchen looks like!

We LOVE our new kitchen and would highly recommend working with Cambria if you're planning on re-doing your kitchen or bath!
