As most of you know I have two kids. My boy will be two in August and our baby girl is a little over three months old. Yesterday, I nearly had a heart attack when Edison went missing. I was changing Amelia's diaper and he was playing with his toys in the living room and then it got really quiet.

Silence is never good when you have a toddler.

I quickly finished changing her and went out to where Edison was playing. He wasn't there. I looked in his bedroom then the playroom then downstairs but could not find him.

After what felt like an eternity, but was actually probably less than one minute, I did find him trying to escape to the park. But, needless to say, I felt like a butt-head. I shared the story this morning on air and we got tons of calls from parents who have had similar experiences. Knowing that this stuff happens to every parent made me feel a little better.
