Forbes just published results from the American Chemical Society that show that you can, in fact, overdose on Halloween candy.

It's highly unlikely though. Their calculations show that the average 180-pound person would have to eat about 5.4 pounds of sugar, which is roughly 262 fun-size pieces or 20,000 calories worth of candy. At that point the chance of a lethal overdose is 50%.

A 60-pound child would have to eat 87 fun-size treats.
