Ellie Goulding Nearly Drowned After a Car Crashed Through a Frozen Lake

In Instagram posts, Ellie Goulding and photographer Conor McDonnell said they escaped from the vehicle by climbing out of the roof!  "Note to self don't drive a BV206 over a frozen lake," Goulding wrote.

McDonnell, who is accompanying Goulding across the European part of her tour, took a picture of the vehicle partially submerged in the water as it slowly sank, but did not share the image on Instagram for three weeks.

This is the exact reason why I HATE being in a vehicle while on a frozen lake!  What a scary story!
