Here we go again... More changes are coming to Facebook.

Bad news first: Facebook announced last week that it was changing its newsfeed (again).  Turns out they're putting a higher priority on posts from friends and family, and less from all your favorite news or media outlets.

Of course as we all know, this isn’t the first time Facebook has adjusted its format.  Its newsfeed has changed plenty of times dealing with algorithms and other math stuff that I don't quite understand...

Bottom line is: Facebook regularly updates this "algorithm" that decides what posts users see.  How much users interact with the posts help influence the changes.

So how can you make sure you’re still getting news from your favorite media outlets, a.k.a KROC?

Now the GOOD news... Here's what you can do: (see picture below)

Visit the Facebook page of a page that you like and want to see updates from.  Hover your mouse arrow over "liked."  You'll see a drop-down menu open.  When that opens you'll want to click see "See First."  Now you'll still see stories from that page in your feed.

So if you're noticing less news and information in your newsfeed, here is a solution that might help keep you informed.

That's it, you're done!  Now you can go back to enjoying all the new baby and vacation photos your friends and family are posting.
