Facebook’s New Feature Allows You To Completely Avoid Your Ex

Hate your ex? Then this feature is for you!  The new Facebook feature will block their posts from your news feed PLUS it blocks your posts from theirs. It also takes down and posts or photos you tagged them in.

So how do you get this feature? Facebook guides you through it once you change your relationship status from "in a relationship" to "single."

Facebook says, "“This work is part of our ongoing effort to develop resources for people who may be going through difficult moments in their lives. We hope these tools will help people end relationships on Facebook with greater ease, comfort and sense of control.”"

It's not clear what you should do if you changed your relationship status months ago and you're still dealing with that crazy ex.  You could try changing your relationship status back to "in a relationship" with them and quickly changing it back to "single."
