According to a new study published by scienceblog.com, smelling someone's gas could prevent major medical issues like heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, dementia, and cancer.  Researchers say that hydrogen sulfide is the chemical that makes flatulence smell bad, but it also helps preserve the mitochondria in your cells.
