(KROC AM News) -- A fiery crash in northeast Rochester put three local residents in the hospital Saturday night.

According to the Rochester Police report, the driver of a Corvette was southbound on East Circle Drive at 11:20 p.m. when he rear-ended another car around the 500 block. Police estimate the vehicle was traveling close to 100 miles per hour when hitting the other vehicle going in the same direction at the speed limit.

Police had been looking for the car after it had been spotted speeding through downtown, it was on fire when they arrived at the crash scene. Charges are pending until blood/alcohol test results are in.  

All three were transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s with non-life threatening injuries.
