Flash Flood Watch For Parts Of The KROC Listening Area

The National Weather Service is predicting thunderstorms which will produce very heavy rainfall across the area this morning. A flash flood watch has been issued for the following counties until 10:00am- Mitchell (IA), Dodge, Mower, Olmsted, and Wabasha.

"Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches or more in a very short period of time could cause Flash Flooding. Street flooding, rapid rises on creeks and rivers, and ponding of water in low spots are all possible."
