Former Twin Justin Morneau Signs With Chicago White Sox
Say it ain't so, Morneau!
Morneau was immediately placed on the 15-day disabled list as he is still recovering from offseason elbow surgery. The former batting champion has been a free agent since being released by the Colorado Rockies over the winter.
Morneau spent his first 11 seasons in the majors with the Twins, was a four-time All Star and earned American League MVP honors in 2006.
I just hope when Morneau returns to Target Field, he receives a similar ovation to the one he got for the All Star game.
Best of luck to you, Justin - But you'll always be a Minnesota Twin!
