Four People Overdosed at Rochester Residence
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) – It was a close call for some young Rochester adults over the weekend.
The four were at an after-bar party at a residence in the 1200 block of 6th St SW early Saturday and apparently took some cocaine that was laced with fentanyl or another opioid. All four overdosed.
Police Capt John Sherwin says officers were called to the residence around 3:30 AM and found the four unresponsive. Some of the victims were given Narcan and all four were taken to St. Marys Hospital for further treatment.
Sherwin says investigators are working to determine where the group obtained the drugs.
