Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Four people are being treated for stab wounds at St Marys Hospital and three of them reportedly have serious injuries.

A Rochester Police Dept. spokesman says officers were called to check a report of an assault around 12:30 AM Tuesday at a residence in the 2800 block of 56th St NW. A few minutes later, a call came in from the nearby Holiday station about three people who had been stabbed.

It was later determined that two people were taken to St Marys by ambulance and three others by private vehicle. The police spokesman says the 5th person being treated apparently was not stabbed.

All those involved are young adult males.

More information is expected to be released later Tuesday.
