‘Friends’ Reunion Still Just a Dream

To all of you Friends fans out there still hoping for a show reunion someday, you should know that even assembling the cast for a simple off-camera get-together is nearly impossible...

That's right.  Even this tight group of friends can't seem to come together for a simple cup of coffee.  Plus, according to Courteney Cox -it's all David Schwimmer's fault?

"We've not really had a Friends reunion. We've gotten about 80 percent there, but there's always one person who flakes at the end," Cox says in a new Yahoo interview.

"I'm not going to name names, but it may not be Schwimmer." (She then gave the camera a look implying that it's totally Schwimmer's fault.)

As for a Friends movie or reboot, Cox added, "Dear Lord, let it go, people!"

Look, I get it.  Friends might be one of the Top 10 (Top 5?) greatest sitcoms ever created.  My wife's a hardcore fan and spouts out random phrases all the time from the show.  She even owns all ten seasons on DVD... but they just collect dust in our movie cabinet because she'll choose to watch mini marathons on Netflix!  Oh, and don't forget the numerous late night blocks of Friends episodes you can do on several cable networks...

Bottom line to take away from Ms. Cox: Keep dreaming.
