Frozen Chicken Nuggets Recalled, Could Have Pieces of Wood in Them

Over 68,000 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets have been recalled because they could have pieces of wood in them. Three people have complained to the company about it which is what forced the recall.

The chicken nuggets being recalled are PERDUE SimplySmart Organics Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets Gluten Free. These chicken nuggets were distributed nationally.

The bags being recalled are the 22-ounce bags produced on October 25th, 2018. The best by date is October 25th, 2019 and the UPC Bar Code is 72745-80656.

If you have a bag of these SimplySmart chicken nuggets in your freezer you are urged to either throw them out or return them to the store.

No adverse reactions have been reported to the USDA as of yet.
